In order to create a safe online environment for children, adish supports the association’s effort by being a member. The association works with companies to provide ICT workshops and heighten internet literacy for vulnerable users.
We joined the "National Social Media Counseling Council" in 2017 as one of the founding members, an institution that works prevent and solve issues of cyberbullying. Our CEO Edo takes the position of cheif director. In 2017 the company also joined an intiative hosted by the Japanese government, known as the "Working Group for Creating a Consulation System for Cyberbullying and Other Acts Using Social Media".
adish aims to create an environment where every individual can design their career according to their lifestyle. We believe in the importance in work-life balance which is why we support Sourire’s business in “Life Career Education”, that allows students to experience and think of their future work-life balance. We support their “Work & Life Internship” program for university students, by providing venues, lectures and participating as final judges.
We invite students from a public Japanese junior high schools each year to visit our office in Tokyo, as part of their workplace experience. The students observe the working environment, take courses in IT literact and discuss the appropriate uses and impacts of social media. For another school with a different focus, we provided contents describing the story behind the establishment of adish and the concept of hospitality.
UniX is a student association with a mission to “maximize the potential of children” by conducting internet literacy workshops. adish collaborates with UNIX and supports their efforts through providing knowledge and information.
AIESEC is a non-profit organization that works to provide solutions for society through programs such as internships. adish supports AIESEC through their programs focusing on social media bullying as an advisor. From providing knowledge and guidance on presentations, we also work as an advisory for a project to send Japanese university students to Poland.
Local programs for future generations.At adish, we support local programs designed to help develop future generations. In 2018, adish participated as a tour guide for middle school students of the Shinagawa district, for the “Dream Job Tour in Gotanda Valley”. The tour, presented by UMEDAI (an association for future education), focused on providing opportunities for teenagers to visit companies to learn about entrepreneurship. adish also participates in their local region, volunteering at events hosted by our neighbourhood preschool.
